The Kia Telluride and Range Rover have a Little in Common

The Kia Telluride and the Land Rover Range Rover have a lot more in common than it may seem. The Kia Telluride is a large family SUV that seats 7 people. The Telluride has a base price of $31,690. The Range Rover is a large luxury SUV that seats 5 people. The Range Rover has a base price of $89,500. It seems like there is not much in common with these two vehicles. But then if you look at the design of the two vehicles you will start to notice design similarities.

Range Rover has been using premium design features on its vehicles for many years, but Kia just started to put these features on the new 2020 Telluride to give it a more premium look. Let’s look at these features.

Look at the front of the Telluride. Notice the pattern on the grille. That same pattern is on the Range Rover’s grille, except it is a bit more defined. Also notice the letters on the hood that spell out “TELLURIDE”. The same kind of design is used on the Range Rover.

Now look at the back of the Telluride. There are not many similarities, but there are a few. The words ”TELLURIDE” are spelled out below window just like the Range Rover. The Telluride also has tall vertical lights like the Range Rover.

The similarities pretty much end right there. The Range Rover is still a much more luxurious vehicle. But the Telluride’s design gives it a much more premium look and feel than most other vehicles in its price segment.
