The Triton Model H is an all-new electric SUV “idea” made by a company called Triton Solar. I say “idea” because there is no working prototype of the vehicle. It is just a set of renderings. The vehicle has a claimed 700 mile range from a 200kWh battery. The Model H has a claimed 1500hp from a quad-motor system. Triton also claims it can go from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, tow 15,400, and hold 200 cu. ft of luggage. All of that seems great, but is it legitimate? I don’t think so.
The most obvious red flag is the design of this vehicle. It looks way too much like the 2021 Cadillac Escalade. The front end is extremely similar to the front of the Escalade. The shape of the lights and grille look just like the Escalade. Even the overall shape of the vehicle looks the same! If you look at the rear window shape and how it is raised at the end, is exactly like the Escalade! You don’t need any experience in automotive design to tell this is a fraud. Here are some pictures.
Do you see the similarities to the Cadillac Escalade? If not, here are some pictures of the real deal.
I really don’t like how the Triton Model H looks. It is a Cadillac Escalade imposter! I don’t even think anyone will buy this. I like the specs and performance, but Triton failed on design innovation. What do you think?
